They are only sent directly to the respective third-party API provider via secure HTTPS requests when you initiate a translation.

Personal Communications & Website Content: To provide real-time translation, the extension reads the text content of your WhatsApp Web chat interface (https://web.whatsapp.com/). This text is only processed temporarily and sent to your configured translation API provider.

Data Sharing and Transfer The extension does not collect, store, sell, or transfer your personal data, chat history, or API keys to any third party, other than the specific translation API provider you have actively configured in the extension’s settings.
Data Retention API keys and configuration preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the extension’s settings or uninstalling the extension. The extension does not retain any chat logs or translated text after the webpage is closed or refreshed.
